Solution


Please follow the instructions below to access the reporting portal, as Cognos requires TLS 1.0 to be enabled in your browser due to the system running on an older version.
 

 

1.      Press the Windows Key + R, type “inetcpl.cpl” and click OK.

2     Go to Advanced tab and in Settings, scroll down to Security (all the way at the bottom) and tick ‘Use TLS 1.0’. Click OK.

3.   Enable Internet Explorer (IE) compatibility mode in Edge – Settings.

    3.1.  Open Microsoft Edge browser and copy and paste following to URL. Locate "Settings" and type "compat" in the search bar, then click "Internet Explorer Compatibility"

3.2.  Click the "Add Page" and type the https://surgical-bi01.prontohosted.com.au/ibmcognos/cgi-bin/cognosisapi.dll?b_action=xts.run&m=portal/main.xts&startwel=yes&h_CAM_action=logonAs

3.3. Click "Add" button

 

Note: MS Edge has a limit of 30 days when you add a page in IE mode. Therefore you will need to add the following page every 30 days.
